As a chelsea fan i do like the transfer. I dont expect KDH tear things apart right from the get go. But he will play a good role in the team next season. After all IMO all parties won. Leichester could sort out PSR. KDH got a move to a club with great competition and proberly higher wages to prove himself. And Chelsea made a signing that could pay for himself after all.

As a Chelsea fan, Im actually hoping this transfer doesn't happen. We just spent over $350m+ on 7 new MF's for now and the future, Including Brazil's U-21 captain and 4 young potential superstars from Brazil & Uruguay coming in now and next year. No offense to KDH, because Im sure he did well in the championship, but that's nowhere near the skill level required to play for Chelsea and in Europe. He isn't even an England International. At best KDH would be our 5th or 6th choice MF. I don't get why he'd want to come just to sit on the bench all season. He should've just stayed at Leicester or signed the contract he agreed to with Brighton after taking his medical. At least he'd get playing time that way.

As a Chelsea Fan i do like the transfer. I dont expect him to do wonders. Ripping everything apart. He will replace Gallagher who my club tries to sell for months now. At Leichester he earned AFAIK 20k/week. He turns 26yrs. Its a win/win/win. Leichester can take care of PSR. KDH will most likely earn triple the wages. And compared to extend with Gallagher Chelsea most likely saves 100k/week in wages. So over his 6yr contract KDH basicly pays for himself. Not bad for a kinda "like to like replacement". And you never know how things turn out when he is surrended with the likes of an Enzo and Caicedo in midfield. Ntw fairplay to you lot for not turning this transfer into a toxic shitshow. Respectt!

If Broja is available as the swap option you should bite our hands off in my opinion, Broja + 25 would be seriously good business. Without a horribly timed injury there is a very possible scenario that he would have had a great season with us, would be sad to see him go, big talent.

KDH deserves a big club, it is just a shame that we need the money, i wish him all the best if he goes , the Chelsea fans will be shocked at just how good he is ,as they keep going on about Drinkwater. I rate him better than Maddison ,he is a great lad good luck to him .

Great stream ant totally enjoyed it. I juyst wanted to highlight something. You said about we can t maintain letting players go on a free which i agree with. To put another spin on things when thr club sign players surely we shhould be taking any deal given to us for players that have been with us for 2 seasons with little impact. I get the market value but some times we need to cut our loses to reinvest. I think as a club we need to carry on the drive to keep promoting our youngsters as rhis is thr more sustainable avenue. We tend to hold on to to many players for to long then get frustrated when they walk out on a free. Loved the stream youve done an amazing job

If O ,HARE works on his fitness then he would be a good signing ,Rodon would be a good signing also. As for KDH keep him if possible,he deserves a top four club if he goes, with a big price tag ,the fans would be gutted but what a player.

As someone who wanted Potter, I must admit the story about his backroom staff at Chelsea does make me more sympathetic to the club, if true no wonder they moved on. Shame they didn't release that info to the fans, they'd get alot more on their side I think 😅

Cooper will do well for you. Potter failing at Chelsea and Pochettino at least managing to get them up the table is indicative to me that in context you might get a better deal with Cooper, especially given the constant late arrival of players at Forest. Also don't forget that when Nuno took over and gave an amnesty to players Cooper had isolated. Nuno picked the same players Cooper was using for his first game. Which tells you he knows who to play, if you think Nuno a good manager. Cooper also had injuries to deal with. Hudon Odoi, and Awoniyi were injured leaving just 3 front players in Elanga, Wood, and for his last 10 games so the team were driven back. Not Low block as some think, his first line up with the new players was 4-2-3-1 (same as Nuno), and when the injuries happened he switched to 4-3-3. Only going low block after the Fulham debacle. Ten players were signed on the last day of the window last season, so no pre season to sort it out, and those he had a pre season with did OK. Away at Arsenal lost 1-2 but should have got a point, beat Sheff U at home, then lost 2-3 at Man U but the refereeing was costly so might have won that, then Beat Chelsea away, before drawing at home to Burnley. Then the new players were used, and they failed him. Once the new players arrived, he had to get them to knit together and they didn't. Marinakis also lost patience when we drew 2-2 from a 2-0 lead at home to Luton, and withdrew his support for Cooper, so gave Cooper no time to sort it out. This is what generated dysfuntion in the dressing room, and ultimately led to the debacle at Fulham. Nuno barely did any better after a 2 match bounce, and was given a better goalkeeper than Cooper had, and two more front men. Which may account for it. Cooper won the U 17 world cup when able to pick from the best of England youth. Cooper took Swansea to the play offs twice with no money. Cooper took Forest to the prem through the playoffs with academy players and loan players, from being adrift at the bottom. Cooper kept Forest up in spite of the poor quality of the squad which had a lot of fight, but had to be set up to counter attack. Cooper started well last season with the previous seasons squad, but the failure of new players to perform, and injuries got him out. Cooper tried everything, showed his willingness to play forward when possible, and the acumen to realize that formation changes were needed. The problems he had did have led him to try players out of their best position, but he was unlucky in my view. Given the set up at Leicester, the targeted and stable recruitment policy, and the squad. I think he'll do well for you. And much better than Potter would. Judge him in context by being honest about your squad performance in context of the collective ability. My guess is he'll keep you up even with a points deduction, and kick on later. Cooper has always got his squads to perform as a collective better than their individual abilities might suggest. Because he creates unity. Look again at the list of achievements. Look again at what he had to put up with at Forest. Finally he has had time to reflect on his time at Forest. I think Cooper may be going places. But his time with you may mark the truth of that. All that said then, be well, and good luck for the new season (except against Forest of course, but boy would Cooper like to win those).
